HIGHLIGHTS OF Egypt 12DAYS&11NIGHTS

The itinerary:
Day1, Cairo
Arrive in Cairo Airport, our representative will meet and assist you through the formalities, and then you will be WEtransferred to your hotel and meet your tour leader who will brief you about the tour package Free evening, overnight at your hotel

Day2, Baharya Oasis
After breakfast you will head to Bahariya Oasis by private A/C mini van, you will arrive after around 5 hours and you will meet your Bedouin guide and be transferred to the hotel. After lunch, you will start the safari to the white desert by Jeep 4x4. Along the way you will explore the Crystal Mountain, the Limestone formation spread on the way and the Black Desert. Before sunset you will reach the White Desert and camp under the stars, enjoy the Bedouin barbeque party and the purity atmosphere, overnight under the stars.

Day3, Cairo

Early wake up to watch the sunrise, and after breakfast, you will head back to Bahariya where you'll take the bus to Cairo. On the way you will visit Agabat Mountain (Mountain of Miracles). Arrive in Cairo in the evening and be transferred to your hotel, overnight at your hotel

Day4, Cairo
After breakfast, our friendly guide will accompany you to the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza Plateau and Sakkara to see the unique step pyramid of Zoser. This pyramid is the unique prototype for Old Kingdom Pyramids, in the evening you will take the sleeper train up the river Nile to Aswan.

Day5, Aswan

Arrive in Aswan. Our representative will meet and transfer you to your Nile Cruise, beginning the day with a morning tour of the famous High Dam of Aswan. The High Dam was completed in 1971 and created Lake Nasser. The creation of the dam made it necessary to relocate several famous monuments. Next you will visit the romantic Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk. The Philae Temple is a majestic Greco-Roman Egyptian temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, the goddess of love, by sunset you will board a traditional Nile Felucca for couple of hours to sail around the Islands temples, overnight on your cruise.

Day6, Kom-ombo and Edfu
Enjoy traveling down the fertile bank of the Nile to visit Kom-Ombo and Edfu Temples, Kom Ombo is a Dual Greco-Roman Egyptian Temple dedicated to the Evil Crocodile god Sobek and the Good Falcon god Haroeris, which stands overseeing the Nile and had sacred crocodiles kept as pets.

The city of Edfu contains the famous Temple of Horus. The 2000 year old Temple was dedicated to the Son of Osiris, Horus the Falcon Headed God, and is the best preserved and most complete temple in Egypt. Continue down the Nile to the city of Luxor, overnight on the Cruise.

Day7, Luxor

After breakfast, we will arrive in Luxor and tour the East Bank of Luxor. Here you will experience the massive Karnak temple and historic Luxor temple. Karnak temple is actually a gigantic temple complex which is over 3500 years old and dedicated the greatly powerful Ram Headed god Amun.
Luxor temple is an important temple in that it was dedicated to 3 gods; Amun, his wife Mut and his son Khons. Together these temples and gods are key players into great Opet Festival which was held during the flood season, overnight on the Cruise.


Day8, Luxor- Hurghada

After breakfast you will tour the West Bank of Luxor. Start your tour off with the world famous Valley of the Kings where you can enter some of the incredible tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs, like King Tutankhamen, then onto the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri). This is the mortuary temple of the only Pharonic Queen of Egypt with very unusual architecture. And finish with the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of Amenophis III's temple, and then you will take a private A/C car to Hurghada, arrive in Hurghada and overnight in your hotel

Day9, Hurghada
Enjoy the Red Sea and spend your time at your leisure, overnight in your hotel.

Day10, Hurghada- Cairo
After breakfast you will take the flight back to Cairo, arrive in Cairo, overnight at your hotel

Day11, Cairo
After breakfast, it'll be the right time for the last tour in Egypt; you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses more than 10,000 relics of ancient Egypt. There you can see the famous Tutankhamen Gallery and the Royal Mummies.

A tour of the old city is a very nice way to say good-bye to Egypt. You will see the Coptic Cairo, Saladin Citadel, Mohammed Ali Mosque, the old Cairo bazaar (Khan El Khalili), overnight at your hotel

Day12,  Flight home

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight back home.
